This sale was about protecting a family.

We recently helped a family in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood of Philadelphia, navigate a really difficult situation… After losing a loved one, they were left with over $500,000 in debt from a predatory reverse mortgage company.

At first, it felt like there was no way forward.
Instead of rushing to list it and leave the family with hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt, we built a strategy.

We negotiated directly with the lender and were able to significantly reduce what was owed. Then we found the right buyer off-market. We found someone patient, understanding, and willing to work with the family through a complex process.

In the end, the family’s debt was resolved and they didn’t walk away empty-handed either… That’s the part we’re most proud of!

The home will now undergo a full renovation, and we’re excited to see it brought back to life for its next chapter.
